The Green Mountain High School crest, created in 2001 by Herff Jones, represents the school’s comprehensive nature. At the center of the shield is the “GM,” surrounded by the four pillars including the academic lamp, a harp and theater masks, the winged shoe of Mercury, and the scientific nucleus with orbiting electrons. They represent our central academic mission to develop knowledge as well as celebrate pride in the performing arts and athletic programs. Across the top of the logo are the majestic Rocky Mountains which surround the Green Mountain area. The Rame name, Green Mountain banner and mascot prominently surround the shield. The crest’s design has become a lasting representation of the traditions and excellence of Green Mountain High School.
