The mission of Green Mountain High School is to create a supportive environment where all students develop dignity, self-worth and the knowledge and skills necessary to:
- Access, process and community information.
- Participate responsibly in and ethically as citizens in a changing world.
- Use logical, creative and critical thinking skills to solve problems.
- Express themselves clearly in a variety of media to be open-minded, productive and self-directed human beings.
- Be quality workers and lifelong learners.
The mission of the GMHS HUB is to support:
- All students in designing their own postsecondary paths.
- All teachers and staff in creating and maintaining industry and community partnerships.

Career & College Pathways in Jeffco
Career and college pathways are a series of educational opportunities that enable students to pursue careers, college and interests after high school. Career and college readiness is a Jeffco Public Schools graduation requirement and is increasingly important, as three out of every four jobs now require education or training beyond high school.
It’s important for students to talk with their families, teachers and school counselors throughout high school as career interests emerge and develop, and to explore different college and career pathways.
