UNC Frontiers of Science Institute
The University of Northern Colorado’s Frontiers of Science Institute offers high school sophomores and juniors a six-week experience immersed in STEM curriculum, an early introduction to college life and the interactions associated with community living.
CU Succeed Online
University of Colorado Colorado Springs’ CU Succeed Online offers a variety of online classes solely for Colorado high school students for which you can earn college credit. The program is for students who are goal-driven and want more from their high school experience.
Colorado Health Careers Academy
Through a collaboration between Arapahoe Community College and Community College of Denver, students can learn about careers in health care through online learning modules. Develop skills, practice interviewing, build resumes and connect with employment opportunities. They also will earn a $500 scholarship upon completion.
Temple University Japan Campus High School Summer Program
TUJ invites high school students to a summer of language and cultural experiences in Tokyo. This year’s program is July 31-Aug. 8, 2024. Information flyers are available in The HUB.
Denison University
Summer TUTTI Performing Arts Camp at Denison University offers talented high school dancers, musicians and theatre-makers a chance to deepen their skills while collaborating with professional artists and ensembles, and peers from across the country. The next camp is June 22-30, 2024; applications open Dec. 1, 2023.
Asse International Student Exchange Program
Options available include academic year and semester programs, as well as summer homestay and language programs. Scholarship options include the Walter Danielson Scholarship, which covers 100% of the program fee, or the Global Adventure Scholarship, which covers a 90% reduction in program fee.
Boston University Summer Term
BU’s precollege programs offer high school students rigorous and collaborative college-life experiences. Programs include High School Honors, Research in Science and Engineering, Academic Immersion, Summer Preview and Summer Challenge.

Washington University
Motivated students have the opportunity to challenge themselves in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere at WashU in St. Louis. Choose from a variety of credit and noncredit programs in the humanities, social sciences, math and natural sciences.
Broadreach Summer Adventures
Students can earn college credits, certifications and community service hours. Programs around the world include Caribbean dive and sail voyages, marine science, animal science, photography and multimedia, advanced scuba, sailing, language and culture, STEM and medicine.
Reynolds Young Writers Workshop
This is a week-long summer creative writing program for high school students at Denison University. Current high school sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply. Participants spend mornings in small workshop groups led by faculty members. Afternoon classes focus on a choice of genres.

Adolesco Youth Exchange
Adolesco Youth Exchange matches U.S. children and teens between the ages of 9 to 18 with age-mate exchange partners in France, Germany and Spain for peer-to-peer language immersion and cultural exchanges.

The Carleton Liberal Arts Experience is a free, week-long summer academic program for high school students. Students experience the benefits of a liberal arts education through classes in science, art, social studies and technology. Students who have an interest in African-American culture, especially students from the African diaspora, are encouraged to apply.
