2024 senior pictures are due Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024

Please send your senior photos to gmhsramsyearbook@gmail.com Please follow the specifications below.

You can choose to have a professional photographer take your senior photo or do it yourself. Either way, your photo must follow these specifications and requirements in order to be part of the GMHS Yearbook.

1. 2-by-3 (or similar ratio) digital image. Photos that are “landscape” and not “portrait” will be cropped
2. RGB color format
3. 300 PPI high-resolution image (cell phone photos do not always take this high of a quality of image, and photos downloaded from Snapchat or Instagram are not high quality)
4. Do not crop photos close to the top of the head. Do not send square photos from Instagram or ones taken in the Snapchat App as they are not high-quality and will appear pixelated.
5. No sunglasses; we must be able to see both eyes of the subject.
6. No firearms, blood, alcohol, tobacco, inappropriate gestures or inappropriate attire (such as too-revealing clothing or brands associated with the things above)
7. We cannot accept pictures that show too much cleavage or too much skin.
8. Students can look past the camera and not at it, but both eyes and most of the face must be visible to the camera. No Instragram poses with face turned to the side.
9. Pets are fine.
10. Vertical head and shoulders pose (horizontal photos will be cropped to be vertical if submitted)
11. No watermarks
12. If you use a photographer, they will send a photo on your behalf.

You can purchase a senior baby ad through Dec. 20, 2024, at the Herff Jones website. 

To create a senior baby ad, please go to the Yearbook Order Center at Varsity and follow the instructions. You can enter “Green Mountain High School” or “16182” to find our school account.

You will be submitting online through our yearbook publisher, Herff Jones. You will need to have the picture in a digital format by scanning it. If you are unsure or unable to do this, please contact Ms. Ketchum at rketchum@jeffcoschools.us for help. 

Please note that the senior baby ads are optional for parents to purchase. It is different than the required senior picture that is due at the beginning of the year and that takes the place of the traditional pictures taken at school. The senior baby ads serve as a fundraiser to help keep the cost of the book down for all students.  Baby ads provide a lasting way for you to celebrate your senior as they graduate from GMHS. 

How to Buy/Submit a Baby Ad

• You will create and submit your baby ad online. Most baby ads include the name of your senior, at least one photo and a message. 
• All baby ads must be submitted by December 20, 2024, through the Herff Jones website in order to be included in the 2024-25 yearbook. 

Directions for purchasing an ad online through Herff Jones:

1. Go to https://www.yearbookordercenter.com
2. Enter the school code: 16182
3. Click on the option that says “Purchase Yearbook Ad”
4. You will pay for your baby ad upon completion with a debit or credit card on the website.
5. Important: If you do not put a credit or debit card in, your ad has not been completed

Baby ads are available in the following sizes and prices:

• 1/8 Page Ad – $60
• 1/4 Page Ad – $120
• 1/2 Page Ad – $250
• Full Page – $500

Ads are due by December 20, 2024 or until all allotted pages are sold out. Don’t miss out – order yours today!
